About EDH Lich
EDH Lich is an independent Commander (EDH) deck-building and card reference site, built and run by a single developer under the handle LichByte. It exists because building a Commander deck involves juggling half a dozen tabs — card search here, prices there, combos somewhere else, power level arguments everywhere — and we wanted one place that does the whole loop: find a commander, see what works with it, check what it costs, detect the combos, gauge the bracket, and goldfish the result.
What's here
- A commander explorer with recommendations, combo detection, and similar-commander browsing for every legal commander
- A full deck builder with import from Moxfield/Archidekt/MTGO formats, recommendations, and one-click TCGplayer checkout
- A power level calculator with official Commander Bracket detection and a Game Changer tracker that stays synced to the current WotC list
- Daily price tracking across every Commander-legal printing — our own snapshots, captured nightly since July 2026
- A goldfish playtester for any deck you build or import
Where the data comes from
Card data, images, and legality come from Scryfall. Combo data comes from Commander Spellbook. Prices come from TCGplayer market data. Everything derived from that raw data — synergy scores, bracket detection, power level, salt ratings, price history — is computed by our own systems, documented openly on the methodology page.
